What is the value of the Costco Shop Card that I can receive with my current membership type?
Costco Executive Members get a Costco Shop Card worth up to $300 for car purchases, and another Costco Shop Card Worth up to $300 for car financing. They can also get Costco Shop Cards worth up to $150 for motorcycle purchases and another Costco Shop Card worth up to $150 for motorcycle financing. The details of the Costco Shop Card promo may vary depending on the current promotions and membership types. Autoconnect is not responsible for issuing Costco Shop Cards. What are the next steps after I choose a vehicle on the website?
Once you have selected your vehicle, the next step is to pay the deposit. After that, you will receive a message confirming the vehicle's availability. The vehicle you have chosen will be reserved for you for the next 48 hours, during which time you will need to confirm your purchase or request a refund of the deposit. If the order is not confirmed within 48 hours, it will be cancelled, and your deposit will be refunded.
How does the deposit work?
Your deposit will be used as an initial payment on your vehicle and held by the dealer to reserve your vehicle prior to full payment. Your new vehicle invoice will deduct this deposit from the final vehicle value.
What happens after I pay the deposit?
After the deposit is paid, we will confirm the availability of your chosen vehicle. If you are not satisfied with the pricing and availability, you can request a refund of your deposit. If you are happy to proceed, the deposit will be transferred to the dealer and will go towards the purchase price of the vehicle.
What happens if I change my mind after paying the deposit?
If you decide not to proceed with the purchase after receiving information on vehicle availability, you are entitled to a 100% refund of your deposit. Simply contact our customer support team, and they will assist you with the refund process. Once you confirm your purchase, your deposit will be directly transferred to the dealer and will go towards the purchase price of the vehicle.
Does Autoconnect store my credit/debit card details?
No, Autoconnect does not store credit or debit card details. We use a third party system, Stripe to process payments and details are stored securely within Stripe. To read more about Stripe please visit https://support.stripe.com/questions/end-customer-faq
Can I have the vehicle delivered to a location of my choice?
Our goal is to make the vehicle-buying experience as convenient as possible for you, and we'll work with you and your Dealer to arrange a delivery time and place that suits your needs within the Dealer's delivery service area.
What are my options for financing the vehicle purchase?
We offer financing options to make purchasing a vehicle convenient for Costco Members. Our financing partners can provide you with competitive rates and flexible payment plans. During the purchase process, you'll have the opportunity to explore financing options and choose the one that best suits your needs.
Can I trade in my current vehicle as part of the purchase?
Yes, we have partners who can offer trade-in options. If you have a vehicle you'd like to trade in, please inform us during the purchase process. Our partners will provide you with the necessary guidance and assistance to assess the trade-in value and include it in your purchase.
How can I access the Member Satisfaction Survey?
Once you have used our service at Autoconnect, a survey will be sent directly to your email. In this survey, you can rate your satisfaction with our service. We value your input and insights, as these will greatly contribute to the betterment of the service we provide for Costco Members.
